Maths Week

The children have been enjoying learning all about 2D and 3D shape as well as developing their understanding of numeracy.

Primary 1 used play dough to make their own 2D shapes.

Primary 2 explored which shapes could tile, and why.

Health and Fitness

Primary 1/2 enjoyed their first Health and Fitness session with Mrs Rankin.

The children have settled well into their daily routine and are coping well with school life in Room 5, despite finding it rather tiring.

Primary 1/2 have gym or fitness three times per week - on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Please ensure that gym kit is sent to school on a Monday and it will be returned home on a Friday.  Earrings must also be removed on gym days.

Homework is sent home each night, Monday to Thursday.  This will be a variety of activities focusing mainly on literacy and numeracy.  Please ensure that homework is signed on completion and do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any concerns or issues.  

The children are encouraged to bring water to sip throughout the day and a healthy snack for playtime.
